I’m seeing this too on my ThinkPad X201i. The kernel I’m running is linux-image-3.1.0-1-686-pae version 3.1.1-1.
It happens quite frequently, most often when first booting in the morning; forcing a shutdown and trying booting again usually results in a normal boot.
