Package: udev
Version: 157-1
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system
running /etc/init.d/udev start
(like is done by /etc/rcS/S04udev ) renders keyboard and video
inoperable and halts the boot process (as far as I can tell - network
never comes up, case power button does nothing)
disabling that gets me a text-mode console instead of X.
