Unfortunately, I do not remember when this problem went away, but it is gone. It might even have stopped to occur because of newer iceweasel versions (4~beta+) that no longer trigger the bug, which I first installed in March. A week before, I installed linux-image-2.6.38-rc6-amd64. It is too far in the past to remember more details.
