Hi, thanks for the hint, this looks definitly related to the graphics driver: Hibernate works perfectly from runlevel 1, and after cleaning up my kernel options (keeping only resume=XXX),and removing old stuff from /etc/modprobe.d, it looks to resume properly almost every time, but I sometimes get a lot of relocation errors/segfaults after resume. And sometimekernelhangs on shutdown after resume.
Still investigating, and will not have a lot of time this weekend, so I hope to have time to file a bug @ freedesktop on monday.
