I tried the pae kernel again this morning after having had problems with it 3
or 4 weeks ago. It still OOP'es but at least the first time it booted and
computer operation **seems** normal.
This time there are 2 OOPS in syslog, after the second there is a reference to
recursive error fixed but re-boot required ??
