Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-34squeeze1 Severity: important When trying to copy a bigger file (16 MB) to the linux-server form a windows client via samba or ftp the linux system freezes in a way that you can't ping it from any client on the the network. The connection to the server is interrupted. Pinging from the server isn't possible as well. Nevertheless the server seems to be working fine, except that the network connction is interrupted in both directions (server - client, client - server). When running the system with kernel 2.6.38-bpo.2-amd64 the problem no longer occurs.
