Oh well, please try installing this package: http://people.debian.org/~benh/linux-base_3.2a~test_all.deb (signature: http://people.debian.org/~benh/linux-base_3.2a~test_all.deb.sig ; source: http://people.debian.org/~benh/linux-base_3.2a~test.dsc ) and run 'dpkg --reconfigure linux-base'.
