I'll try that and report back.  #595124 is about suspend-to-ram,
though.

No.  There are two bugs: with KMS enabled, the machine always locks up
with a blank screen when asked to hibernate.  With KMS disabled, it
sometimes locks up on resume.  I don't think these are likely to have
the same cause.
