Netback is supposed to drop such invalid packets, however I've just found a patch in my .git/patches, dated August 2009, to do this which I forgot to send upstream. I'll do that now! This will fix the warning but at the expense of dropping traffic from guests with the buggy drivers so it is still worth making sure those are up to date.
