OK, then can you get a packet capture while you do this? 1. Run as root: tcpdump -i eth2 -w eth2.pcap 2. Start DHCP and wait for it to fail 3. Kill tcpdump (control-C) Send eth2.pcap to this bug report. Ben. -- Ben Hutchings Once a job is fouled up, anything done to improve it makes it worse.
