The dom0 part is indeed OK; now I see that the problem is in the domU.

Unfortunately, current debian kernels I use for domUs
(2.6.32-5-686-bigmem and 2.6.32-5-amd64) do not have the required XEN
pcifront driver yet.
Will try to boot -xen kernels on domU...
