Some facts: - Still present in linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64.
- Not present in linux-image-2.6.30-2-amd64. The transfer rate also drops after completing one third of the upload to the external device, but just to a "reasonable" 3.5 MB/s. - It seems to be filesystem-independent (I formatted my pendrive with vfat, ntfs and ext4) and device-independent (tested other external storage devices). - My buddy reports (on a different and more powerful Debian Squeeze amd64 box running 2.6.32-5) he is not experiencing anything unusual with transfer rates even using my own pendrive. So I guess there must be some combination of kernel and hardware issues. Regards, Antonio -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
