Yeah! Found out, why this kernel version crashes. The reason is the new video driver "nouveau", which is interfering with some nvidia-garphic-cards.
Workaround: If you are using the binary and accelerated driver "nvidia-glx", then you will not need the nouveau driver from the kernel. Either delete it , or , just blacklist it.
