Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-3 Severity: normal Hi.
Since linux-image-2.6.32-3 (and also at least with -4) (tested with the -486 version of the image) my ATL1E network of the EEE PC 900A does not longer work. The module is automatically loaded, dmesg shows the usual info about the network card, but when brining the iface up I get: SIOCSIFADDR: No such device eth0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device eth0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device Bind socket to interface: No such device There is not MAC address problem with udev persistent-net-rules. Going back to the linux-image-2.6.30-2-486... and everything works again. Any ideas? Cheers, Chris. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-fermat (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
