hmm what is the latest working offlicial debian linux image,
that works for you? Does the linux-image-2.6.32-3-686 boot on that box
(available in sid)?
I'm not sure, I was removing kernels recently due to lack of disk space.
I'm sure I patched 2.6.32 to make X work but I probably had to boot it
first to find out it is broken.
