I tried yesterday that .deb from Sid. Blender keeps segfaulting and WorldOfGoo shows corrupted textures and then hangs. Luckily, I could be able to use Alt+SysReq S,U,B in order to avoid the filesystem corruption. I have also tried the system on Gentoo.
