I'm afraid I do not understand your idea. Some embedded devices are big endian, but the device with sky2 driver is little-endian (amd64, Intel Core Duo, just usual desktop). As far as I can see from the comments to the commit above, the patch fixes sky2 driver when it works with big endian host, which is not the case. -- Alexandra N.
