System lockups (kernel freeze, soft lockup) on dual (multi) processor since 2.6.30 and confirmed kernels are: * 2.6.30 * 2.6.30.1 * 2.6.30.2 * 2.6.30.3 * 2.6.30.4 * 2.6.30.5 * 2.6.31-rc6 And there is really _high_ probability, that everything in between 2.6.30.5 and 2.6.31-rc6 is affected. Debian's linux-image-2.6.30-1-686 is affected too. Affected systems: * Dual Pentim 2 (Pentium II) * Dual Pentim 3 (Pentium III) * Dual Pentium Pro (PPro) * Dual Athlon MP This bug is bisected and traced at: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13933 Even though this bug is still present and so other Debian users can be affected.
