Package: kernel-image-2.6.12
Version: kernel-image-2.6.12-686
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system
Upgraded from old unstable system to current unstable.
After upgrade rebooting failed after loading ide-cd it reports
"lost interrupt".
Booting from 2.6.8 stock kernel package was fine, and used to recover.
Acer TravelMate 200DX
ALI15X3 chipset reported for IDE Controller
CD reported as MATSHITA CR-176, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
Uniform CDROM driver 3.20 is selected.
As far as I know it is just a CD drive, not DVD, but I'll try a DVD now.
Similar to RedHat bugzilla 138119 ?
Packages.debian.org suggests a 2.6.13 is in the works.
