reopen 535354 thanks It seems that this bug hasn't been resolved yet. I'm currently on linux-image-2.6.30-1-powerpc 2.6.30-3 - yet rtc-generic complains:
rtc-generic: hctosys: unable to read the hardware clock when trying "hwclock --systohc" for instance, it responds with the following: RTC_RD_TIME: Invalid argument ioctl() to /dev/rtc0 to read the time failed.
