I disagree that NFS is "unusable" in this kernel version, but presumably there is a serious problem for certain configurations.
The patch applied in 2.6.28 was directly applicable in 2.6.27.10 and should also be applicable to 2.6.26 since there were no intervening changes to net/sunrpc/auth_generic.c. Does this seem appropriate for a stable update? Ben. -- Ben Hutchings Logic doesn't apply to the real world. - Marvin Minsky
