My Network Card works nicelly on 486 kernel, but don't works on 686 kernel, i found a site where they say the problem is tulip module, becase the DAVICOM cards, don't need it really...tulip are compatible, but not 100% https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/udev/+bug/48026
