Today I made a screen shot in case of a hang: http://hkr.at/uOyDFw3oTbfyT/problem.jpg - - before I start a shut down a manual remount of cifs shares solves the problem - - I can not reproduce the problem on Etch I think we need an automatic remount of CIFS share on halt/reboot....
