This have no effect. It seems that the problem is not really Alsa but Kde sound system... When I reboot my system and start an TWM or Gnome session (with KDM for logging), the sound works great... Alsamixer show me the right values for all channels. But If I run a KDE session, some of channel values are decreased to 0... The solution is to run « alsactl restore » to have sound. But with 2.6.24-1, I don't have to do this !! I've tried to change "autodetection" by "ALSA" in KDE control Center (Sound section) but there is no effect... It seems that arts reset some setting when it runs with KDE... Should this bug be forwarded to arts package ? -- Michel Grentzinger OpenPGP key ID : B2BAFAFA Available on http://www.keyserver.net -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
