This patch has been merged upstream. Can you confirm that applying http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=1f8f5cf6e4f038552a3e47b66085452c08556d71 on top of the current Lenny kernels fixes the problem?
