Gents, FYI: For testing purposes, I’ve formatted the external USB-drive with EXT3 and, believe it or not, no problems whatsoever. After re-formatting the same drive with FAT32 and copying the very same directories and files onto the USB drive, again an error message is issued and the copy process fails.
