Subject: 2.6.26-1-686 Kernel does not boot
Package: Linux-Image-2.6.26-686
Version: 2.6.26-1

In Debian Lenny, the most recent update for the Linux Kernel will not
boot. This is on a Lenovo J Series 3000 desktop.
After selecting the latest Kernel from the menu at first boot, all
things begin to boot normally, but then stop completely. Selecting the
older Kernel that was installed by default (2.6.24), works, as did
2.6.25.
The only error that is given is "failed to enumerate USB hub on port 1",
which happened with the 2.6.25 Kernel, but was still able to run the
machine normally.
