I have this bug here, although I don't know it is for the same reason, since what solves the problem here is disabling CONFIG_SND_AC97_POWER_SAVE, which was introduced after 2.6.18. I've sent a patch upstream trying to fix this, but it was not accepted yet, since it was not the right fix. Please, would you disable CONFIG_SND_AC97_POWER_SAVE for lenny?
