Package: linux-image-2.6.18-1-k7
Version: 2.6.18-3
Severity: normal
I haven't been able to use the hostap_plx driver in kernels later than 2.6.16.
In 2.6.17-1-k7 and 2.6.18-1-k7 I have been getting this in my syslog:
Oct 18 19:54:33 suppressingfire kernel: hostap_plx: 0.4.4-kernel (Jouni Malinen
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>)
Oct 18 19:54:33 suppressingfire kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:0a.0 (0000

card?
Oct 18 19:54:33 suppressingfire kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt for device

If I boot with the 2.6.16 kernel, it works fine. I've had to keep
linux-image-2.6.16-2-k7 version 2.6.16-18
installed in order to use my computer as an infrastructure/master mode access
point.

Version: 2.6.20-1
fixed in commit 115e222d538e7838bffa0f76409acd9816a0ef32
"[PATCH] hostap_plx: fix CIS verification" landed upstream
in 2.6.19 but there was no .19 in debian uploaded thus marking
fixed for .20
etch and lenny have >= 2.6.24 too thanks to etch+half.
