Package: firmware-iwlwifi Version: 0.10 Severity: grave Justification: causes non-serious data loss
The current version made my machine hang after heavy network use. It also refused to properly unload/reload upon hibernate (to disk) causing me to loose my wifi until I rebooted. I went to the intel website and downloaded the newest firmware. A week later I have not seen any of the above problems anymore. Please consider upgrading the firmware in debian to the latest released. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Machine: Toshiba Techra A8 Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- no debconf information -- Thomas Zander -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
