yes a sha1sum of the initramfs is stored there. older linux images < 2.6.24-1 generate those files but don't remove them on purge it is natural for update-initramfs to then just try them. the bug is fixed in newer linux-2.6, but i guess not in kernel-package generated images.. so you'd prefer update-initramfs to be silent on those nuked, but once existing initramfs? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
