I can change with Fn+F3, F4, F5, F6 volume and brightness, I get the blue 
message as before telling me that brightness and volume changes (yet the 
Fn-keys to use are not the ones suggested by my keybord, which has for 
example only one volume-key (F4) and not F4 (quiter) and F5 (louder).

And the touchpad-wheel behaves correctly.

Probably it is the easiest if I just send you what I send Mattia Dongili, who 
developed the sony_laptop module (including his reply to me suggesting to ask 
you to include it in the Kernel):
