building the latest iwlwifi snapshot does not work because of the
missing header files in net/mac80211/
If files are added from source distribution compiling works as suspected.

that is a strange mix you ask for.
if you run iwlwifi snapshot you usualy want oot mac80211 patch, so..
anyway i don't see newly added exports in davem net tree,
if you can sucessfull ask for them please go upstream in netdev ml.
we won't deviate on the installed header set for Debian.
