I am using Etch with kernel image 2.6.18-4-k7. I am unable to get any midi
with this kernel on two very different hardware scenarios. When I launch
rosegarden in the terminal, I get the following:
AlsaDriver::setCurrentTimer((auto))
System timer is only 250Hz, sending a warning
Current timer set to "system timer"
WARNING: using system timer with only 250Hz resolution!
Is there a different flavor of the kernel image that I should use that
includes a high resolution timer?
