Well, this makes it a kernel problem (which was most likely from the beginning). I see you already followed up to the upstream bugzilla bug report, which was the right thing to do. Hopefully the kernel maintainers will contact you on that and you can work with them to solve the issue. If you don't get any reply from upstream, please keep trying. Best is to keep testing with new kernels as they become available and report if anything changes. I'm reassigning this report to the kernel with a link to the bugzilla report.
