After upgrade from 2.6.18-3 to 2.6.18-4 grub select this new kernel for boot, even if previously default was set to a non-linux partition. I noticed the problem also on another installation. It wopuld be nice that, if the default kernel is not the one that is upgraded, it would remain as a default.
