I haven't had a chance to test that yet (I switched to Xubuntu some months ago, which worked until a very recent update to Edgy, also in 2.6.17), but I have been able to determine that the KVM I was using (StarTech SV411) is a factor, at least on Xubuntu using kernel 2.6.17-??. Connected the trackball directly to the computer eliminates the problem. Regards, Daniel - -- GnuPG Key Fingerprint 86 F5 81 A5 D4 2E 1F 1C http://gnupg.org And that's my crabbing done for the day. Got it out of the way early, now I have the rest of the afternoon to sniff fragrant tea-roses or strangle cute bunnies or something. -- Michael Devore -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFwpWahvWBpdQuHxwRArdMAKCG7ayPFGPbg9zwWuogqsk4zgrTpACfSjbQ gBytLPSV9tevH1ftvIpjj3Y= =K0Tj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
