the patch you posted got applied upstream,
that is the reason i closed the bug, also there was no further info.
please name the linux-image where you still see that issue?

Sorry for reporting confusing things *ahem*. I have this bug with
kernels later than 2.6.13.5 (vanilla and debian stock). This bug is
still in latest package "linux-image-2.6.18-3-k7".
I pinpointed the bug to commit
59f4e7d572980a521b7bdba74ab71b21f5995538 in Linus git repository
(2.6.14 vanilla wouldn't reboot, if I reversed this commit, it would).
I can give you more information if necessary.
