Hi, I have the exact same problem ...
According to the FAQ (http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/FAQ#head-d2b370740516f1e113719a733d9 ecb324f61ff4f), the tg3 firmware does not meet the requirements of the DFSG.
