Followup-For: Bug #369416
I have the same problem ("kernel: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth1: link is
not ready") on stock kernel linux-image-2.6.17-1-686 (version 2.6.17-3)
as well as a custom-built kernel based on linux-source-2.6.17 (version
2.6.17-3). DHCP is not the problem because my wireless card doesn't
work with statically configured IP networking either, but the same
configurations work perfectly under a custom-built kernel using an
earlier version in the 2.6.16 series.
Any hints?
