severity 373115 minor stop Hi,
Looking at the logs, the preinst exited with "OK, Aborting". This phrase occurs twice in the preinst: first, when asking if it is OK to continue to install an image with an initrd, since the boot loader may not be prepared for that. The second time it occurs iswhen asking permission to blow away modules when installing a kernel image that had already been installed, since older modules could confuse the new kernel, or otherwise fail if, sa, the compiler changed. Is there any record of the debconf interaction during this install? This seems like this may be the nominal behaviour, and not a bug. manoj Template: =ST-image-=V/preinst/bootloader-initrd-=V Template: =ST-image-=V/preinst/lilo-initrd-=V Template: =ST-image-=V/preinst/elilo-initrd-=V Template: =ST-image-=V/preinst/overwriting-modules-=V -- Q: Do you drink when you're on duty?
