mdadm 2.5-1 is ready to take over initramfs configuration for RAID systems. It currently conflicts with initramfs-tools (<= 0.60) because it changes the name of the scripts/local-top file from md to mdadm, but lvm depends on 'md'.
Thus, please do the following when you upload the next version:
- change the prereq of local-top/lvm to "mdadm" (was: "md")
- add a Conflicts: mdadm (<< 2.5-1)
- remove local-top/md and hooks/md from the initramfs-tools
package
I will wait for you to upload to experimental or unstable before
I upload 2.5-1.
