Just a "me too"...

Someone gave me an ultra1 (my first piece of sparc kit and first non
i386 debian install) with CG6 (TGX) graphics.
I installed basic sarge.
I upgraded to the 2.6.8 kernel immediately (and dpkg-reconfigured
console-data to pc).
I tried to get xserver-xfree86 up and running (marvelling at the yellow
debconf dialogs... I actually thought maybe they're colour coded by
architecture... yellow for "sun"!) but vt7 remained stubbornly blank,
despite no errors logged and clients being apparently able to run
happily (but invisibly) there.

So will be going back to good old 2.4...
