My data integrity problem disappeared after the system provider replaced the zero-channel controller. Sorry for not informing you earlier. Later I upgraded the kernel and 2.6.15 is running just fine right now. It was not the kernel to blame. As of the ide-generic causing aacraid to hang, right now the machine loads "generic" after aacraid and I see no problems whatsoever. Can't try loading "generic" before aacraid, since the box is already in production. Thanks for cleaning BTS :) dam -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEJqfAHqjlqpcl9jsRAtIRAKCFWBocd7g6Y+vOofcO2o4dVP3t3gCgr2Hw sxnIWfVLFTuApUWlGOYWklk= =7Pwu -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
