Ok, thanks.

In the meantime i learned : 

  1) the bus_to_virt symbol is not used on powerpc 64bit.

  2) the fedora core guys are running this module without problem. 

  3) this will probably be solved properly with the 2.6.16 kernel release,
  which will reunite the ppc and ppc64 subtrees into a single powerpc one.

So, this is definitvely solveable, i will not have time this week, but i will
be looking in how to solve this one as soon as possible.
