This discussion is a waste of time anyway. There's no religious reason why the mips kernel is not integrated in linux-2.6. There are currently no mips/mipsel kernels (in unstable), and those in experimental (against 2.6.12) use their own source package since they were not ready for integration in linux-2.6 yet (note the 'experimental' part).
