Package: linux-image-2.6.14-2-386 Version: 2.6.14-6 Severity: normal I'm in the habit of using alt-left arrow or alt-right arrow to move between virtual consoles at the linux console.
With this kernel, if I am in tty1 and I alt-left, I get to a blank console (with a cursor at the top). If I then alt-right, nothing seems to happen, and even if I use alt-f1, I cannot get back to any console displaying anything. The behavior I'm used to is that looping off either side loops back to the other side. I'm using udev, FWIW. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-2-386 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages linux-image-2.6.14-2-386 depends on: ii initramfs-tools [linux-initra 0.44 tools for generating an initramfs ii module-init-tools 3.2.2-1 tools for managing Linux kernel mo linux-image-2.6.14-2-386 recommends no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- see shy jo
