Dear Maintainer, Please consider enabling CONFIG_SCHED_CLASS_EXT=y in trixie kernels. As far as I can tell, the sched_ext framework is advanced enough in 6.12 that it will work okay for external schedulers provided outside of Debian (i.e cargo install scx_lavd). In my experience, scx_lavd as an example, provides a noticeable, albeit anecdotal, improvement to energy usage, battery life and responsiveness. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.21-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
