Here's what I've tried with my nforce2 board (a7xn8x deluxe) with /etc/yaird/Default.cfg and linux-image-2.6.14-2-k7 v 2.6.14-5: ide-generic + ide_disk -> boot, no DMA ide-generic + ide_disk + amd74xx -> boot, no DMA amd74xx + ide-generic + ide_disk -> boot, DMA :-) amd74xx + ide_disk -> boot failure HTH -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
