Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
This is an NFS server, who exports about 25 mountpoints to 30 NFS
clients. Ever since its reboot 10 days ago, the kernel kept reporting
"RPC request reserved 84 but used 272" and one or more client, while
still mounting from servers, become unusable, i.e. access to NFS directories
would get stuck and later even spawning a new shell become impossible and
can only be resolved by rebooting the client.
Once the client reboots, the server stops reporting "RPC request ...", then
the problem might re-appear in another random client two or three days later.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I have tried restarting the `nfs-server`, `rpcbind` services, but that didn't
resolve the problem.
* What was the outcome of this action?
NFS client gets stuck.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
NFS client works normally.
